PayPal Verification Status and Your Cashier Cap
PayPal structures its sending and receiving limits around account verification level. An unverified account carries a lower lifetime sending cap — once you link a bank account or debit card and confirm your identity with a government-issued ID, PayPal upgrades your account and the cap climbs sharply. On our end, the cashier shows a minimum and a maximum for each PayPal transaction;
both figures come from our own payment settings and from PayPal's live check against your account. Rolling periods — typically weekly — also matter. If you're in Pittsburgh logging in through a mobile browser, the limit rules are identical to desktop access; the caps are account-based, not device-based.
